Price & Configurations
The 2025 Nissan Armada SUV will offer five trim levels in the lineup. Here’s a look at each trim level and starting prices:
- SV: $60,000 MSRP
- SL: $65,000 MSRP
- Platinum: $70,000 MSRP
- PRO-4X (new): $75,000 MSRP
- Platinum Reserve (new): $80,000 MSRP
Official pricing hasn’t been released yet but is expected to start around $60,000 MSRP. Each trim will have standard 4×2 and available 4×4 configurations except the PRO-4X with standard 4WD.
2025 Nissan Armada SV
The 2025 Armada SV is the entry-level trim with expected pricing to start at $60,000 MSRP. The SV comes with standard RWD and available 4WD to configure it to your full-size SUV driving needs. It rides on 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels and has dual 12.3-inch touchscreen and head-up displays with Google integration.
Although SV trim-specific changes in 2025 aren’t yet available, we know there’s a more refined cabin, added cargo space, and a stronger engine. However, full-size SUV drivers gain plenty of valuable standard features in a newly released vehicle at a lower price than the 2025 lineup.
2025 Nissan Armada SL
The 2025 Armada SL steps up its offerings from the base-level SV, with expected pricing to start at $65,000 MSRP. While it shares similarities like standard 4×2 and available 4×4 configurations, along with dual 12.3-inch touchscreen and head-up displays, it also brings some upgrades.
The SL rides on bigger 20-inch machine-finished aluminum alloy wheels, has a 12-speaker Klipscht® premium audio system, and an optional power liftgate that isn’t standard or available on the SV. Specific changes from the 2024 SL haven’t been announced but will surely apply to this trim as a redesign year.
The SL is expected to be the most popular because of its offerings in a mid-level trim. You gain valuable upgrades from the entry-level ST, and the SL suits most full-size SUV driving needs more than the other off-road and luxury-focused trims.
2025 Nissan Armada Platinum
The 2025 Armada Platinum is your luxurious trim, with expected pricing to start at $70,000 MSRP. It has standard 4×2 and available 4×4 configurations and rides on 20-inch aluminum alloy wheels.
The Armada Platinum’s rich features include:
- Dual 14.3-inch touchscreen and head-up displays (two inches bigger than the SV and SL)
- Quilted leather-appointed seats in the first and second rows
- Panoramic moonroof
- Available motion-activated liftgate for easier cargo access
- Roof-mounted Biometric Cooling infrared camera that detects overheated passengers in the front and second rows and directs cool air toward them
No trim-specific changes have been revealed yet for the 2025 Platinum besides the redesigns for this upcoming lineup. The Platinum is best if you want upscale amenities without all the bells and whistles of the Platinum Reserve. It’s packed with plenty of luxuries without feeling like you’re missing out.
2025 Nissan Armada PRO-4X
Making its first-ever Nissan SUV debut is the off-road designed 2025 Nissan Armada PRO-4X with expected pricing to start around $75,000 MSRP. The PRO-4X can tackle any terrain effortlessly with impressive off-roading metrics, like 9.6 inches of ground clearance, with the electronically controlled adaptive suspension system raised to the highest setting—2.1 inches above standard height.
It rides on 20-inch black-painted aluminum alloy wheels and has a unique front fascia design that helps improve approach angles in a sleek style. Additionally, the PRO-4X has off-roading technology to strengthen driving control in all conditions, like the Intelligent 4WD system with terrain mode selection, 4H/4L setting features, and invisible hood views.
The PRO-4X also offers a suite of trim-exclusive features, including:
- Standard 4WD configuration
- Electronic locking rear differential
- Underbody metal skid plates
- All-terrain Yokohama Geolander tires
- Red-accented tow hooks
- PRO-FX quilted leather-appointed seats in the first and second rows
If you want to maximize your outdoor adventures in a new SUV, the PRO-4X is your best option, as there aren’t previously offered off-road trims. The closest option in the 2024 lineup was the Armada Midnight Edition, which has a more rugged appearance but the same mechanical components as the other trims.
2025 Nissan Armada Platinum Reserve
Also making its debut in the 2025 Armada lineup is the new Platinum Reserve trim. As the top-level and peak of luxury-designed trim, pricing is expected to start at $80,000 MSRP. It comes in 4×2 and 4×4 configurations with all the amenities of the Platinum and more.
The Platinum Reserve’s features include:
- Trim-exclusive 22-inch machine-finished aluminum-alloy wheels (two inches bigger than the Platinum)
- Standard Adaptive Electronic Air Suspension (unavailable in the Platinum)
- Premium leather upholstery with two-tone diamond stitching
- Trim-exclusive Everest White TriCoat exterior color and two-tone Everest White TriCoat/Super Black premium paints
Car and Driver even stated the Armada Platinum Reserve is “loaded” and “gives the Infiniti QX80 sibling a run for the money in the luxury department.” For full-size SUV drivers searching for the utmost upscale vehicle, this trim has the most luxuries in the 2025 Armada lineup.
Exterior Appearance & Dimensions
Compared to the 2024 Armada, the 2025 models have a slightly longer, wider, and taller body. Its exterior design features a chrome-heavy front design, C-shaped LED accent lights, and a new LED light strip along the tailgate width.
The exterior dimensions are 209.6” L x 83.3” W x 76.6” H. All trim levels ride on standard or machine-finished aluminum alloy wheels ranging from 18 to 22 inches.

- Increased 6 cu. ft. behind the second row—totaling 56.3 cu. ft.

Engines, Performance, Reliability
The 2025 Nissan Armada will have one powertrain option in the lineup, a new twin-turbo 3.5L V6 engine and push-button nine-speed automatic transmission. While it’s technically a smaller engine replacement from last year’s 5.6L V8, the powertrain performance significantly improves.
The nine-speed transmission offers two more forward speeds than last year’s seven-speed, increasing 20% in gear ratio range per Nissan. The V6 produces an impressive 425 hp and 516 lb.-ft. of torque—that’s 25hp and 103 lb.-ft. of torque more than the previous V8 engine!
In addition to a stronger powertrain, you gain an Intelligent 4WD system with 4H/4L settings and a Drive and Terrain Mode Selector to enhance driving control on tough terrain. The Adaptive Electronic Air Suspension is also available in 4WD models to adjust ride heights per road conditions and easier parking access.
2025 Nissan Armada MPG Ratings
The 2025 Armada’s fuel economy ratings aren’t available yet. However, they’re expected to be the same as the Infiniti QX80’s 20 mpg combined in RWD and 19 mpg combined in 4WD since it has the same V6 engine.
Towing Capacity & Payload Rating
According to Nissan, the 2025 Armada can tow up to 8,500 lbs. when equipped with a Class IV Tow hitch and seven-pin harness/pre-wiring for all trim levels.
Payload ratings haven’t been released. But plenty of towing technologies have been announced, including:
- Trailer Sway Control
- Trailer Blind Spot Warning
- Available Trailer Back Up Assist
Safety Ratings & Technology
The 2025 Armada’s safety ratings aren’t available yet. These should remain around the same as the 2024 models since they’re equipped with many of the same or upgraded safety technologies. Based on the current information released, we expect the NHTSA ratings to stay consistent with 4 out of 5 stars in overall safety or improve into 2025.
The all-new Armada continues or upgrades its suite of safety and driving assistance technologies, including:
- Available ProPILOT Assist 2.1: The latest version of Nissan’s driving assistance technology, featuring enhanced hands-off steering and feet-pedaling.
- NissanConnect®: A smartphone-compatible app with easy access to emergency response services, customizable alerts, and remote connectivity features.
- Safety Shield® 360: A comprehensive safety system with six advanced monitoring features:
