2026 Nissan Frontier Exterior, Colors, & Dimensions

The 2026 Nissan Frontier paint options haven't been revealed, but they usually offer some prior model year colors.

We predict them to implement the following:
- AI-enhanced off-roading performance features like automated drive mode selection in per-terrain conditions
- Updated driver control software to strengthen user experience and daily pickup driving
- Immersive entertainment systems like surround sound speakers, built-in subwoofers, and livestream smartphone connectivity

2026 Nissan Frontier Engines, Performance, & Reliability
The 2026 Nissan Frontier lineup will have gasoline, diesel, and PHEV powertrain options.
Additional details aren't available, but it may continue the 3.8L six-cylinder engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission for
gasoline-powered variants, producing up to 310 hp and 281 lb-ft of torque. Replacing it with a more fuel-efficient engine is possible with Nissan's new electrification focus.
For diesel variants, the 2026 Frontier may have a similar powertrain used in the
Mitsubishi Triton-a 2.4L turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine with a six-speed automatic transmission, producing up to 201 hp and 347 lb-ft of torque.
For
PHEV variants, the 2026 Frontier will likely use a similar powertrain to the 2025 Nissan Rogue's new hybrid model. It has a 2.4L gasoline engine with two electric motors, producing up to 248 hp-a first-ever for Nissan and set to release
this year! It shares the same components as the Mitsubishi Outlander Hybrid, which should be reflected in the 2026 Frontier with their recent partnership.
