2026.5 Nissan Rogue Release Date

The 2026.5 Nissan Rogue release date was summer 2025, and it's available to buy at your local Nissan dealership now. The start of regular production took place at the Smyrna plant in Tennessee. The hybrid model variants haven't been released and are scheduled to arrive in early 2026.

2026.5 Nissan Rogue Redesign Changes - What's New?

The 2026.5 Nissan Rogue won't be a redesign but a mid-cycle enhancement (MCE) with significant changes for this model year, including:
  • All-new plug-in hybrid variants
  • New Dark Armor Edition trim
  • SL trim dropped from the gas-powered lineup
  • Redesigned front fascia on the Rock Creek
  • Updated LED headlights
  • Refreshed interior design
The 2026.5 Rogue hybrid will be the first ever released for this model, with two variants revealed: the Rogue PHEV and Rogue e-Power. However, information is currently limited for these models.

We know it'll use the same plug-in powertrain as the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander Hybrid, a 2.4L four-cylinder engine with two electric motors, a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and standard AWD. Based on the Outlander PHEV's specs, it should produce up to 248 hp, 144 lb.-ft. of torque, and 38 miles of EV range.
