The 2026 Nissan Sentra exterior has been redesigned, bringing bolder and sharper styling. It has a refreshed V-motion grille with extending lines into the lighting signature. The LED headlights are slimmer to blend more into the nose, and the body has sharper surfaces.

The trunk was also reshaped for better opening and accessing of large items, offering one of the lowest liftover heights in its class.

The exterior dimensions are the same for all trims at 183.3" L x 71.5 W x 57.1" H with a 4.7" ground clearance. Compared to 2025 models, the length grew by 0.6" and the ground clearance slightly shortened by 0.1".

The 2026 Nissan Sentra has the same powertrain: a 2.0L four-cylinder engine with an Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CVT). It produces up to 149 hp and 164 lb-ft of torque. Several enhancements were made to improve ride quality.

According to Nissan, the 2026 Sentra has 6% greater rigidity than the 2025 models with new reinforcements in the unibody. There's a new shock absorber valving to reduce impacts from road bumps. The CVT was retuned for smoother acceleration, and the body opening size was reduced for a quieter cabin.
