2026 Nissan Versa Release Date
The 2026 Nissan Versa release date and production schedule details haven't been shared yet. We predict it to become available in fall 2025 and to be manufactured at the Aguascalientes plant in Mexico. We will update this once more information is announced.2026 Nissan Versa Changes - What's New?
The 2026 Nissan Versa changes aren't fully revealed, but testing photos and announcements show the following:- Discontinued five-speed manual transmission models (all automatic lineup)
- Restyled front end
- New two-level LED daytime running lights
- Redesigned taillights and rear bumper
- New wheels and hubcaps
2026 Nissan Versa Price, Trims, & Configurations
The 2026 Nissan Vera price and trim levels haven't been announced yet, but should have the same lineup as last year's since it's not an all-new model:- S: $19,500 MSRP (est.)
- SV: $21,000 MSRP (est.)
- SR: $21,500 MSRP (est.)
2026 Nissan Versa S
The 2026 Nissan Versa S should remain the base-level trim with estimated pricing starting at $19,500 MSRP.Trim-specific details aren't yet available for the S, but it's expected to have the following features:
- 15" steel wheels with full wheel covers and all-season tires
- 7" NissanConnect touchscreen display
- Four-speaker audio system
- Cloth seat trim
2026 Nissan Versa SV
The 2026 Nissan Versa SV should remain the mid-level trim with estimated pricing starting at $21,000 MSRP.Trim-specific details aren't yet available for the SV, but it's expected to have the following features:
- 16" aluminum alloy wheels and all-season tires
- 7" NissanConnect touchscreen display with two first-row LCD monitors
- 7" multi-function information display
- Premium cloth seat trim
2026 Nissan Versa SR
The 2026 Nissan Versa SR should remain the top-level trim with estimated pricing starting at $21,500 MSRP.Trim-specific details aren't yet available for the SR, but it's expected to have the following features:
- 16" machine-finished aluminum alloy wheels and all-season tires
- 8" NissanConnect touchscreen display with two first-row LCD monitors
- 7" multi-function information display and NissanConnect with Wi-Fi hotspot
- Sport cloth seat trim

The 2026 Versa is a subcompact sedan with four doors and similar styling to the 2026 Armada. Prototype testing photos revealed a redesigned front end, taillights, and rear bumper. New two-tier LED daytime running lights, wheels, and hubcaps were also noticeable. The low and wide opening trunk should remain in the new Nissan Versa models.


The 2026 Versa powertrain will have a 1.6L four-cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission. It should produce up to 122 hp and 114 lb.-ft. of torque. The five-speed manual transmission is discontinued. The 2025 model year acceleration times from 0 to 60 mph in
