New Rogue vs. Former Rogue

2021 Nissan Rogue vs. 2019 Nissan Rogue

The 2021 Nissan Rogue has received a thorough interior and exterior redesign. Old Body Style (2014 – 2020) vs. New Body Style (2021)

The 2021 Nissan Rogue’s new body style was built on an entirely different platform than the Nissan Rogue’s old body style. What changes can Buna drivers expect from the Nissan Rogue update?

The old body style emphasized many of the popular design elements of crossovers throughout the 2010’s. It had soft, natural lines, and looked similar to a full-sized sedan but featured the cargo bay of an SUV.

The new Nissan Rogue exterior design, however, takes inspiration from Nissan’s 2018 concept model, the Xmotion. That is to say that the Rogue borrows the broader and more aggressive stance of Nissan’s previous SUVs from the aughts—tall, impressive ground clearance, aggressive stance, off-road ready wheels, wide stance, etc. While its design is burlier, the new Rogue is similar in size to previous generations—it’s still a crossover. You can expect excellent fuel economy and sharp handling. Other changes include two new two-tone exterior color options that both implement a black roof. You can also expect a slightly shorter wheel-base.

2021 Nissan Rogue Interior Changes

The Nissan Rogue interior features a new dashboard design, more elegant cabin materials, the option for rear-window sunshades, increased rear legroom and headroom, increased center console storage space, and a standard 8-inch infotainment screen with smartphone mirroring. As for new optional add-ons, you can upgrade to a 9-inch infotainment touchscreen. If you opt for the new Platinum trim, you’ll enjoy a huge 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, heads-up display, quilted leather upholstery, and more!
